The SCF Forum & Awards 2019 takes place on Thursday, 28th November 2019 in Amsterdam, bringing together over 300 of Europe’s treasurers, procurement directors, banks, technology vendors and academics to learn from each other and set out the future of Supply Chain Finance.

Large corporations with international supply chains often have supplier finance objectives that are more ambitious than simply extending DPO. Whether it’s encouraging environmentally sustainable practices among growers, rewarding better employment practices in smaller suppliers, or simply providing essential finance in developing economies, today’s SCF platforms need to be able to deliver against targets that aren’t always purely about pushing out terms. This year’s fintech showcase, moderated as usual by Steven van der Hooft of Capital Chains, asks platform providers (and banks?) how they rise to this challenge.
